PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display with an optical position detector capable of performing various kinds of plotting on a display screen corresponding to the size of an indicated object detected by the optical position detector and performing various kinds of plotting on the display screen corresponding to the moving speed, moving direction or the like of the indicated object as well. SOLUTION: The information display is provided with a display to display information on a display screen 10, an indicated object detector to be arranged around the display screen 10 and to optically detect a position indicated by the indicated object and the size of the indicated object in a specified area on the display screen 10 and an image control part 52 to display an image on the screen 10 of the display according to a detection result by the indicated object detector and an image display method is differentiated on the display screen 10 of the display corresponding to the position and/or the size of the indicated object detected by the indicated object detector by the image control part 52.
