PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control piezoelectric characteristics and control linearity of piezoelectric ceramics, by providing at least a piezoelectric ceramic region and an electro-strictive ceramic region. SOLUTION: An internal structure of a piezoelectric ceramic comprising at least two kinds of regions different in composition comprises a region of a composition 1 including many crystal grains and a similar composition 2 which are put at random. Three-dimensionally, the respective regions are three- dimensionally coupled. In addition, effects may not interfere even if some parts are not coupled at all in regions of the same composition. The piezoelectric ceramic comprising two kinds of composition regions different in field-distortion characteristics from each other can be improved in linearity compared with the field-distortion characteristics of either single composition.
