PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with key shapes different at every maker and at every car kind when a remote control transmitter for an automobile is formed in an integral shape, to obtain the range of a sufficient radio signal even by an internal antenna which is not a hindrance at the time of driving, to form the remote control transmitter in a shape getting no trouble when an integral type key is used, and to use the key even as the integral type even when the key is formed in another body type. SOLUTION: A key base 2 is installed detachably in a case body 1, a recessed section 3 is formed on the side face of the case body 1, and the key base 2 is mounted detachably into the recessed section 3. The remote control transmitter is constituted in such a manner that the interior surface of the recessed section 3 is closed and a circuit mounted into the case body 1 is not exposed to the outside even when the key base 2 is removed.
