PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene resin composition which gives a film with well-balanced properties such as a high tensile modulus, high film impact and good moldability. SOLUTION: This propylene-based resin composition is obtained by compounding (A) 80-1 pts.wt. of a propylene-based polymer comprising a propylene homopolymer obtained by the polymerization by means of a metallocene-type catalyst, having an isotactic pentad fraction (mmmm fraction) of 80-99%, a mol.wt. distribution (Mw/Mn ratio) of 3.5 or less and an intrinsic viscosity [η] of 1.0-4.0 dl/g, and (B) 20-99 pts.wt. of a propylene-based copolymer comprising a propylene homopolymer or a propylene-based copolymer containing 0.5 mole % or less of ethylene or anα-olefin having an isotactic pentad fraction (mmmm fraction) of 85-99%, a mol.wt. distribution (Mw/Mn ratio) of 3.0 or more and an intrinsic viscosity [η] of 1.0-2.0 dl/g. And there is provided a film molded from this composition.
