PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid deterioration of speed control performance by detecting the operation state of a constant-speed driving control means and limiting the possible range of the gear ratio corresponding the operation state. SOLUTION: The aiming rotational frequency TNt of an input shaft is set responding to the open degree of a throttle TVO and the vehicle speed VSP in a gear ratio control range from the minimum gear ratio to the maximum speed control ratio. In the case the constant-speed driving control is carried out, the open degree of the throttle is controlled independently of the pushing degree of an accelerator pedal. In this case, by gear ratio control operation by a control unit, when the open degree of the throttle is completely closed state, the open degree of the throttle is controlled to be the minimum gear ratio limit value higher than the minimum gear ratio. Consequently, further high braking force can be obtained due to engine braking effect in a downward slope during driving by constant-speed driving control operation and also in the case driving is shifted to driving in an upward slope, the accelerating performance at the time when the open degree of the throttle is shifted from a narrow state to a wide state can be improved. |
