The valve has a valve shaft (9) which is displaced against a return spring bias via an operating element (8). A valve play setting element operates between the operating element and the valve shaft. The operating element has a setting screw (11) which oscillates with the armature of the electromagnetic operating device, used for adjusting the effective length of the operating element. The setting screw may be operated via a stationary setting element (15) placed in an accessible position.
