Hydraulic high-pressure press for precision stampings

The press has a hydraulic tandem cylinder (1), and the larger surface of a lower piston is of the same size as the largest surface of the cylinder. A comb (4) is fastened to the underside of the piston, with a counterpart (5) on the press die (6). The comb is moved by a displacement unit (8) on the die in longitudinal direction by one tooth/tooth space width. The largest surface of the die corresponds to largest surface of the piston. The press die is moved by a quick-motion cylinder (7) until the tool (10) is in stamping position. The press table (9) has a device for optimum tool positioning, and the tandem cylinder has a relief valve (13) connected to the cylinder space.
