Electrical component feed system for supplying circuit board assembly machine

The component feed system has a passage (4) extending between a supply hopper (2) for the components and a component reception point (3) of the assembly machine. The transfer of the components to this passage and their movement along it are controlled by pulses of compressed air fed to three discrete points spaced along the passage. An Independent claim for a method of supplying surface-mounted electrical components to a circuit board assembly machine is also included.
