The conductive front face (SHO) of the end of a wave-guide (HO) is fixed to a microstrip circuit (MS). The latter includes an opening of area which matches that of the wave-guide. A coupling element (KO), which forms part of a strip-line (LE), extends into the opening. The opening is covered in the top (microstrip) side with a lid (MEK), which is electrically connected to the front face, to form an electrically hermetic screening in the region of the coupling element.- DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a microstrip-wave-guide junction
