It has sensor element(s) fastened to oscillation plate to determine generated oscillations and connected to evaluation circuit. A cleaning device (10), especially for pharmaceutical containers (1) like ampoules and vials has a device (12) guiding the containers into an ultrasonic bath (11). There is an ultrasonic generator for the medium fond in the bath which has an oscillation plate (23) and several oscillator elements (24) controlled by a generator (25) connected to the plate. At least one sensor element is fastened to the plate to determine the oscillations generated by the oscillator elements and the sensor element is connected to an evaluation circuit (27). The sensor element is an oscillation element, controlled by a circuit device so that it is connected either with the generator of the evaluation circuit.
