PURPOSE:To improve the safety and comfortableness during running by changing the frequency of an inverter based on the inclination angle measured by an inclination sensor, and changing the rotating speed of a motor. CONSTITUTION:A passenger monorail trolley is mounted with a vehicle in which passengers ride on two nearly equivalent front and rear running devices D, and it is run along upper and lower double rails J. The running devices D have a front upper wheel M, a rear upper wheel N, and a driving pinion L engaged with a rack K fixed on the side face of the upper rail U, and power is transferred from a motor A to the driving pinion L. An inclination sensor for detecting the longitudinal inclination angle theta of the monorail trolley against the horizontal plane is provided. When the absolute value of the inclination angle theta is small, the oscillation frequency of an inverter is made smaller as the absolute value of the inclination angle theta is made larger, thus the rotating speed of a motor M is changed. |
