PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable guidance matched with the personal background or interest of a visitor in a virtual space. SOLUTION: At the time of visit in a real space, a context-aware mobile assistant project(C-MAP) system 1 detects the time required by the visitor for each display and times of retrieval of display information. Based on this information, a VisTA-Walk system 2 calculates an active level and determines a navigation mode. Further, the VisTA-Walk system 2 performs the display in a virtual space, generates an agent character in such a virtual space scene and executes the guidance of the visitor based on the determined navigation mode. |
