<p>An exhaust emission control catalyst comprising a first zeolite supporting a catalyst metal and a second zeolite not supporting a catalyst metal. Hydrocarbon (HC) poisoning of the catalyst metal supported by the first zeolite can be restricted by causing HC to be positively adsorbed onto the second zeolite and HC can be adsorbed sufficiently. Because, HC adsorption performance can be improved and HC poisoning of the catalyst metal is restricted, NOx emission control performance and catalyst durability can be improved.</p> |
