CAR AND DISPLAY OF ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car and a display of an elevator, in which fire can be prevented from being spread even if the fire breaks out, by preventing fire from breaking out on the display caused by vicious pranks. SOLUTION: An operation panel 2A of a car is provided behind an opening part 1a of a sleeve side plate 1 through a guide frame 6. A shutter cover 3A whose lower end is loosely fitted into grooves 6a formed on the facing sides on both sides of the guide frame 6 is provided above the guide frame 6. A driving mechanism 5 for retreating a stopper bar 5b on the basis of a signal of a detector which has detected flames generated near the front surface of the operation panel 2A of the car is provided on the rear part on the lower part of the shutter cover 3A. When fire breaks out in front of the operation panel 2A of the car, the tip of the stopper bar 5b is drawn out from the groove 3a on the lower end of the shutter cover 3A on the basis of the detected signal of the detector, and the shutter cover 3A is lowered in front of the operation panel 2A.
