PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject suppressant which is safely usable with low toxicity, can be used together with usual immunosuppressive compounds without adverse drug reactions and is useful for inhibiting the rejection reaction in transplantation and preventing and treating autoimmune diseases by formulating a specific compound which promotes lymphocyte homing toward mesenteries, peripheral lymph tissues or Peyer patches. SOLUTION: The objective suppressant preferably not inhibiting the production of T-cell interleukin-2 is obtained by particularly formulating 2- aminopropane-1,3-diol, its homolog, analog or derivative, particularly a compound of formula I (R is a carbon chain; R<2> -R<5> are each H, an alkyl, etc.), particularly 2-amino-2[2-(4-octylphenyl)ethyl]propane-1,3-diol hydrochloride, or a benzene compound, its homolog, analog or derivative, particularly a compound of formula II [W, R<1> , X and Y are each H and the like; Z is a single bond and the like; (m) is 1 and 2; (n) is 2 and 3].
