PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for forming a function signal for controlling an elevator car in the end landing in a building and to be transmitted to an elevator controller. SOLUTION: A limit switch device is provided with an upper cam 3 and a lower cam 4 which are to be mounted on the wall surfaces 2a, 2b of an upper landing and a lower landing in an elevator shaft 2, an upper switch 5 and a lower switch 8 which are to be mounted on an elevator car and to be connected to a power source, and an interface circuit connected to the switches. The interface circuit is provided with a lower limit relay coil and an upper limit relay coil for generating upper and lower limit function signals for controlling the movement of the car in collaboration with the switches 5, 8 and upward and downward deceleration signals for controlling the speed of the car, and a normally closed upward relay contact set and a normally closed downward relay contract set. |
