PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject feed capable of increasing growth/feed efficiency, fertilization/eyed egg ratio in artificial fertilization and survival rate of parent fish used in artificial fertilization, in cultivation of parent fish of salmons and trouts, by making a lipid content in a specific range. SOLUTION: The lipid content of this formula feed for parent fish is made in the range of 10-16%. Salmons and trouts indicate rainbow trout, kokanee salmon, Oncorhynchus masou, Oncorhynchus rhodurus, etc., the feed especially targets parent fish of size on and after juvenile stage of the Salmons and trouts. The feed indicates a mixed feed for fish breeding, such as a feed comprising fish meal, wheat flour, soybean cake, etc., as main components mixed with vitamin, mineral, etc. The feed is produced by adding an oil to a raw material as a base for the mixed feed for salmons and trouts and forming and/or externally adding the oil to the formula feed after forming to make the lipid content 10-16%. The oils and fats mainly comprise a fish oil and a vegetable oil such as soybean oil, corn oil, etc., and/or an animal oil such as lard, beef tallow, etc., may be used as a part of the oils and fats. |
