PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system and an image forming method for producing a good print by exposing a plurality of rows of photosensitive materials simultaneously while eliminating the effect of difference in the kind of photosensitive material and slight difference in the photosensitive characteristics thereof. SOLUTION: The image forming system comprises a section 6 for exposing a plurality of photosensitive materials P1, P2 arranged in parallel through a single exposing system, a section 8 for storing a plurality of correction amounts being set based on the characteristics of the photosensitive materials P1, P2 depending on the exposing region in the direction intersecting the arranging direction of the photosensitive materials P1, P2, and a section 7 for performing correction of the exposing region based on a correction amount such that the quantity of light at the exposing section 6 is affected.
