PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly contain and mount the air bag and the inflator of an air bag device to one side part of a seat back. SOLUTION: In this seat for a vehicle, the output part of a bag expansion pressure is positioned inside a recessed part 5a formed in the plate face of a side plate 5 and an inflator 1b securely spans between the side walls of the recessed part 5a. The recessed part 5a of the side plate 5 and a release port 1c formed in the base part surface of an air bag 1a coincide to each other and the base part surface of the air bag 1a is pressed by a snap ring 7 from the inside of the edge part of a release port 1c. The air bag 1a is securely fastened against the plate surface of the side plate 5 together with the snap ring 7, and the air bag 1a is folded in a bellows-form state and is caused to front on the opening part of pack pad for assembly and mounting. |
