PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a system under operation from the disconnection of service by avoiding outputting of an optical signal, which is converted at a stand-by electric/optic conversion part of another wave length, from the electric/optic conversion part at the time of erroneously exchange-mounting the stand-by electric/optic conversion part of another wave length at the time of the fault of an optic/electric conversion part. SOLUTION: At the time of generating a fault at the electric/optic conversion part of a transmitter part 10-1 and erroneously exchanging with the stand-by electric/optic conversion part 104 of a wavelength λn, a wavelength monitoring and comparing part 30 fetches wavelength information of a wavelength λn from an exchanged wavelength information output circuit 1042 and compares it with waveform information of wavelength λ1 handled by an electric/optic conversion circuit 1041 stored in advance to judge its coincidence. At this time, as wavelength information of both of them do not coincide, the part 30 outputs a transmission output control signal to the circuit 1041 of the part 104 of the erroneously mounted wavelength λn. Then shut down control is executed to avoid the output of the optical signal of a wavelength λn from the erroneously mounted part 104. |
