<p>A parts housing tape comprising a first stepped portion so formed at each corner inside each recess as to expand in both the transverse and longitudinal directions of the tape in comparison with the other inner surfaces of the recess and having a predetermined height so that even when the corners of the parts to be housed protrude outward beyond the other peripheral portions, the parts can be supported by each first stepped portion while the corners are prevented from coming into contact with the inner side surfaces of the parts housing tape or from piercing the tape. A tape-like package, a tape-like cover and parts packaging apparatus comprising flexible protruding portions so formed or allowed to be so formed on the side of the surface of the tape-like cover opposing the parts housing tape as to correspond respectively to each recess of the parts housing tape and to be flexible in the direction of thickness of the tape-like cover so that the parts housed inside the recess of the parts housing tape can be always biased in the pushing direction into the corresponding recess of the parts housing tape by the protruding portions of the tape-like cover.</p> |
