Convertible recumbent to upright bicycle

The convertible bicycle centers round a length-adjustable connector spring (33) enabling the rear wheel strut (27) to switch from recumbent to upright settings by modifying via spring actuator (37) the length of the storage spring. The adjuster spring has a range of 90 deg relative the angle it produces for the rear wheel strut and lies below the saddle (3) and the frame and saddle are so arranged that the center of gravity lies between front and rear axles in the upright position. In the upright setting a tensile spring (61) keeps the front wheel aligned so the spring elements are joined to both front and rear wheel guides (6,27) and are thus active in the recumbent setting but passive when upright. A luggage bracket above the rear wheel is joined by stays to the strut (27) and designed to remain horizontal in both recumbent and upright settings.
