The invention relates to a method of regenerating a molecular sieve catalyst. This method essentially comprises the following steps: (1) The catalyst to be regenerated is regenerated in the first regenerative tube; (2) The catalyst regenerated in step (1) is separated in a group of cyclone separators located outside the first regenerative tube; (3) The catalyst regenerated in step (2) is further regenerated in the second regenerative tube; (4) The catalyst regenerated in step (3) is separated in a group of cyclone separators located outside the second regenerative tube; (5) The catalyst regenerated in step (4) enters into the catalytic cracking reactor of the lift pipe type through an inclined tube.
