<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave oven, capable of preventing the damaging of parts, by a method wherein a high pressure capacitor, damaged by heat easily, is protected from heat, transmitted from surrounding heat generating parts. SOLUTION: A microwave oven is provided with an outer case 111, constituting the appearance of the same, an inner case 112, in which a cooking chamber 120 is formed, an electric instrument chamber 140, prepared so as to be partitioned from the cooking chamber 120, a cooling fan 143, sucking outside air to cool the electric instrument chamber 140, a high voltage transformer 142, installed in the electric instrument chamber 140 to boost an applied voltage at outside to a high voltage, and a high voltage capacitor 145, charged by a high voltage boosted in the high voltage transformer 142. A bracket 150 for high voltage capacitor is prepared so that the high-voltage capacitor 145 is installed while being isolated from one side wall of the electric instrument chamber 140, in order to minimize the transmission of heat, generated in the electric instrument chamber 140, to the high-voltage capacitor 145.</p> |
