<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the breaking workability of a pipe line, by inserting an expansible plate in a cutter groove scored on the surface of an underground pipe wound with concrete and injecting a high pressure liquid into the expansible plate. SOLUTION: A cutter groove 5 is scored by a stone cutter on the surface of an underground pipe wound with concrete, from which the peripheral soil is removed, so as to avoid the positions of cable pipes. Then, an expansible plate 6 is inserted in the groove 5 and a pressurizing device 7 such as a hydraulic pump is connected to the plate 6 through a high pressure hose 8. Then, a high pressure liquid is supplied from the device 7 into the plate 6 to expand the plate 6 and break the pipe line. A wedge or the like is driven in the groove 5 to widen it and broken concrete blocks are removed. Both ends of a stainless steel pipe or the like made flat are welded to close, for instance and then an inlet pipe is connected to one side end to form the plate 6. After use, it is pressed by a jack or the like to restore the shape. In this way, the damage to the cables can be prevented and this work can be done without skillful techniques. And noise, vibration, dust, etc., can be remarkably reduced.</p> |
