PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the discharge capacity and cycle characteristic of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. SOLUTION: As the active material of a positive electrode forming an electrode plate group by spirally winding together with a negative electrode via a separator, a lithium composite metal oxide obtained by mixing at least one of hydroxide, oxide, and carbonate of at least one metal selected from among a group comprising transition metals, IIA metals, and IIIA metals, and a lithium compound in which D50 is 5-50 μm, D90 is 90 μm or less, particles having a particle diameter of 100 μm or more are not contained, baking the mixture at 700-1000 deg.C for 2-30 hours and then crushed are used. |
