PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly process a large quantity of output signals of imaging gas chambers by connecting an amplifier to the anode of a microstrip gas chamber and a back electrode and inputting an amplified output signal to a discrimination circuit. SOLUTION: The MSGC 102 has an anode 512ch, a rear surface anode 512ch, and a cathode. A weak signal pulse being outputted by the GC 102 is amplified by a waveformshaping preamplifier. The output is inputted to preamplifier/ waveheight discriminator 103 and 104, and a discrimination signal is outputted with an ECL(emitter coupled logic) standard. In a system, a card where the amplifier 103 and the discriminator 104 for 64 channels are accommodated in one substrate is placed on a mother board 101 of the GC102 for miniaturization. A data-collecting device is divided into encoders 113 and 114 for indexing a position from signal lines being sent and a disposal circuit 115 and a storage device 116 of incidence particles, thus accommodating into a computer 117 for analysis. |
