<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning filter by which the surface of a substrate or the like is prevented from being contaminated by gaseous impurities by simultaneously removing not only trace gaseous inorganic impurities contained in air subject to treatment but also gaseous organic impurities. SOLUTION: The air cleaning filter 1 is produced by using powder of inorganic matter as a binder and sticking powder of fraipontite mineral on the surfaces of supporting bodies 12 and forming an inorganic matter layer. In the filter 1, outside frames 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d made of aluminum are assembled so as to be opened in the flowing direction of air to be treated (in the direction shown by open arrows 13 in a figure). Both corrugated sheets 10 in which powdery fraipontite is stuck on the surfaces by using the inorganic binder and thin plate sheets 11 are alternately laminated nearly parallel to the flowing direction 13 of air in the internal space of the outside frames 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d. In the inside of the inorganic matter layer, gaps becoming vent holes are formed in the parts in which fine particles of both powder of fraipontite mineral and powder of the binder consisting of inorganic matter adjoin. Gas subject to treatment enters the inside of the layer of inorganic matter so as to slip through the vent holes and reversely goes out from the inside of the layer of inorganic matter to the outside.</p> |
