<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve thoroughly the properties such as fluidity, of toner by depositing fine particles of additives such as fluidization agent on the surface of the toner in the uniformly dispersed state. SOLUTION: This toner is prepared by dispersing the toner particles and the particles of the additives in separate air currents, respectively, to mix each particles, and them mixing mechanically the both particles in order to deposit the particles of the additives on the surface of the toner particles. In this case, relations, i.e., Pa.ρt.Dt/(1.25×10<4>×π.ρa.Da<3> )<=n* and Pa<=200×π.Da.ρa/(√3.Dt.ρt) are satisfied, wherein Dt(μm)andρa are diameter and specific gravity, respectively, of the toner particle, Da(μm) andρa are diameter and specific gravity, respectively, of the particle of the additives, n*(number/μm<2> )represents the number of particles additives fixed on the unit area of the toner particle, Pa represents the parts by weight of particles of the additives per 100 parts by weight of the toner particles.</p> |
