PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical transmission device in which the light emitting level of an optical transmission module is measured easily by a simple means. SOLUTION: An IC 5 for changeover is installed at a device. Thereby, a state that a light emitting element is turned on and off by a pattern corresponding to a transmission signal S by applying the transmission signal S to an optical transmission module 1 with the built-in light emitting element and another state that the light emitting element is driven at a continuously high level so as to be capable of measuring a light emitting level by applying the driving signal of a full output to the optical transmission module 1 are changed over. |
