Designed so as to give a high level of security and traceability, for research and development test results. The method for generating a manipulation register (1) includes an information collector (Ia) linked to an experimental protocol and experimental data acquisition (Ib). The method also includes: a processor (II) for all or part of this information and data; an irreversible inscription (III) of this information and data in a digital support means (M); a display (X) of all or part of this information and data in the form of graphical pages (P1, Pn-1, Pn) numbered and dated in an irreversible fashion. Any modification (IX) effected on the data and information is stored in irreversible fashion in the digital support means (M) and is displayed on the graphical pages concerned.
