The rattle consists of a cylindrical drum with skins covering its two faces, set on a stick which is equipped with a line (4) having rings on its ends to strike the drum when the stick is rotated. The drum measures, for example, 7 cm in diameter by 2.5 cm in width, and weighs some 33 g with covering skins. The stick is 18 cm long by 3 mm in diameter and weights about 12 g, while the line is 15 cm long, and the rings on its two ends weigh an average of 1.5 g each.
