The invention relates to an ustensil belonging to the personal care outfit and intended especially for oral hygiene: toothbrushing and tonguebrushing. It is designed to allow more efficient cleaning of the parts of which the mouth is comprised, especially the tongue, and prevent any risk of mucosal trauma. Said toothbrush includes a cleaning head (1), a handle (2) to which a tongue-brushing device (3) is fitted which ressembles a "mermaid tail" (4), the larger part of which is provided with a T-shaped cleaning member, with one peaky end (6) while the other end is provided with soft hair (7) for tongue-brushing. Stiff hair (8) of various shapes are planted in the toothbrush head (1) by various known methods. The stiff hair (8) tension diminishes regularly from their base to their free end (2). The "mermaid" toothbrush is provided with a holding foot (20) in the form of a truncated cone with a slot (21), on the bottom of which is fitted an adhesive-type fixative (22). Said toothbrush has also a container (18) on which is mounted a feeder (19) with a channel-fitted tongue-cleaning device (4) secured therein. The inventive toothbrush is used to brush with all hair levels, while tongue-brushing consists in removing various particles and deposits with a scraper (6) forming part of the cleaning member (5), and then move on to using soft hair (7) for a finer brushing. The tongue may also be greased with vegetable oils - sunflower seed oil, olive oil, etc. stored in the container (18) - using the feeder (19) and the tongue-brushing device (4). |
