The device is substantially constituted by an oxygen generator (G), in particular of the type comprising a compressor (K) which draws external air and drives it against a molecular sieve so that highly concentrated oxygen is obtained. Said oxygen generator (G) is connected to the mixing chamber (Cm) inside of which fuel and air of a piston-engine (M) are mixed. Since the oxygen generator (G) is only fed when the vehicle engine is working, the generator produces the exact oxygen amount which is entirely consumed during the combustion. |
