摘要 A regenerative reactor has a rotary control element which selectively directs gases through stationary heat exchange chambers (5-7) and which has transverse walls, between which are fixed stationary connection chambers in fixed communication with the heat exchange chambers. A regenerative reactor has a rotary gas flow control element which selectively directs dirty gas, clean gas or flushing gas through three stationary heat exchange chambers containing heat storage material and which has two spaced transverse walls with gas passage openings, three stationary connection chambers (39-41) being fixed between the walls and being in fixed communication with the heat exchange chambers (5-7). The transverse walls are in the form of circular disks (34,35) fixed on a common shaft driven by an electric drive (74) which is intermittently operated so that the flushing time is independent of the rotational speed. Each wall has a single gas passage opening, these openings being diametrically opposite and having an opening angle of up to 90 deg with respect to the rotational axis. The connection chambers or their connection lines (21-23) are connected by controllable flushing gas valves (24-26) which are operated in accordance with the rotational position of the control element (33).
