The connector has a pin (1b) and a receiver (1a) which is formed of a sheet material shell (10) and a rolled sheet inner liner (20). The liner has a cut out (24a,b) in which the pin can fit. The pin is also made of a rolled sheet material shell (30) with a bayonet stud (32) on the inner surface.
