PROCESS TESTING PROPERTIES OF RUBBER-CARRYING MIXTURES

FIELD: abrasive industry, testing of mechanical properties of abrasive mixture on vulcanite binder. SUBSTANCE: specimen of rectangular cross-section with height alternating over length having wedge angle of 1 to 15 deg prepared fro testing of plastic and elastic properties of vulcanite mixtures. Loading and heating of specimen during testing is conducted by two heated smooth rolls with rising compression and deformation rate. Plasticity in this case is found by dependence , where h0 is maximum height of rolled wedge-shaped specimen; h1 is minimum height of specimen equal to clearance between rolls and height of specimen at final moment of rolling. Relative elasticity is determined by dependence , where h2 is height of specimen after rolling and curing. EFFECT: improved authentication of determination of plastic and elastic properties of vulcanite mixtures.
