FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: method includes tensioning of warp, its release, laying and beating up of weft, withdrawal of formed fabric, shed forming by separating of warp into two systems, their motion in vertical plane and moving of groups of the second system of warp in horizontal plane to respective closely located groups of the first system of warp. During shed formation in lifting and lowering of warp, weft weave crossings derivative from calico weave within the range of repeat of fabric pattern by weft are displaced in horizontal plane. Method reduces wearing effect on warp caused by guide members of loop due to exclusion in shed formation of operation of additional motion in horizontal plane of groups of the second system of warp in zone of reed-heald and warp breakage is decreased by 31.8%.
