FIELD: abrasive tool industry, namely manufacture of ring blanks of vulcanite-binder abrasive wheels. SUBSTANCE: die set includes drift 1 supporting cutting members 3,4 in front of which changeable cover plates are arranged on rigid substrate 10. Cover plates are in the form of ring 11 and disc 12 inserted inside ring 11 with annular gap. Height of changeable cover plates is more than working stroke of die set. Outer diameter of ring 11 is equal to that of outer cutting member 4. EFFECT: lowered degree of cutting members blunting, their enhanced strength and, therefore enhanced quality of cut annular blanks. 3 dwg, 1 exp
