摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery with light weight and high capacity by arranging a reinforcing decorative metal cover closely fit to the outer circumference of a sealing resin tube, and whose both ends are tucked on ring-shaped positive and negative insulating gaskets. SOLUTION: Positive and negative lead plates 5a, 5b are connected to a spirally wound electrode plate stack 1, and positive and negative terminals 3a, 3b having plate-shaped parts larger than the top and bottom of the cylindrical part, and ring-shaped positive and negative insulating gaskets 4a, 4b having the central holes fit to the cylindrical part are assembled to the electrode plate stack 1. The assembled body is inserted into a battery unit sealing resin tube 2a, and the tube is shrunk and fit by heating. The ends of a reinforcing decorative metal tube cover in which positive and negative buffer rings 6a, 6b are temporarily fixed to the outer circumferential ends of the positive and negative terminals 3a, 3b of the assembled body and inserted are tucked, and the positive and negative buffer rings 6a, 6b are compressed and fixed for sealing. Since the battery unit sealing resin tube 2a is resin, it is lightweight, and since a constricted part does not exist, electric capacity is increased.
