PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely allow even a person who has difficulty in hearing to transmit a message to the opposite party by collecting a tone signal from a receiver of a receiving device by a microphone, detecting a tone signal that is outputted from a microphone part and performing LED emission. SOLUTION: A dual tone signal which shows that they are connected comes from the opposite party is received when line connection with the other telephone party is made. The dual tone signal that shows that the opposite party receives an incoming call is sent to a receiver 1, and the receiver 1 outputs it as voice. A specific dual tone signal that is outputted from the receiver 1 is collected by a microphone part 2 and converted from voice into an electric signal. The electric signal is discriminated whether or not the signal is a signal that shows an incoming call by a tone detecting part 3 and when it is the corresponding signal, the part 3 outputs a signal that makes a LED light emitting part 4 emit light and the part 4 receives the signal from the part 3 and emits a LED. Thereby, it is possible to confirm a connection state without hearing a voice signal sent from the opposite party.
