PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication terminal capable of suppressing the increase of power consumption in the case of moving to a place where radio waves from a master unit do not reach in the state of being set in a both-face waiting mode. SOLUTION: This terminal is provided with a public only mode for waiting for radio call termination only from a base station operated by a communication business party, an independent only mode for waiting for the radio call termination only from the master unit owned by a general user and the both-face waiting mode for waiting for the radio call termination from both of the base station and the master unit. At the time of being in the both-face waiting mode, the presence/absence of the radio waves from the master unit are detected by a transmission/reception circuit 2 and a CPU 3. Corresponding to the absence of the radio waves from the master unit, the CPU 3 forcibly shifts the portable radio terminal from the both-face waiting mode to the public only mode. |
