PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cash register which can easily manage the limit date for every commodity and can contribute to the effective consumption. SOLUTION: This cash register registers the information on the sold commodities in the following constitution. That is, a control part 1 performs the total control of the register and an input part 2 inputs the identification data on commodities, the limit date for every commodity, the commodity identification data or the commodity information including the data of production through the usable period of every commodity. An arithmetic part 3 calculates the limit date for every commodity based on the date of production and the usable period of the commodity. A retrieval part 51 retrieves the commodity names according to the commodity identification data. Then a writing part 6 writes the commodity information including at least the commodity names and the limit date for every commodity into an IC card 61 of a purchaser as the digital information. |
