<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable end for a power cable which does not require a heating work, such as pluming work for simplifying connection work, and moreover achievs superior adhesion. SOLUTION: A pulling eye 10 with which a cable end, by which insulating oil and insulating gas in the metal sheath 4 of an oil-filled power cable are tightly sealed is connected to a power cable end part, has a cylindrical hole 10b into which the conductor 2 of the cable is inserted and an annular hole 190c which surrounds the hole 10b and into which the metal sheath 4 of the cable is inserted. The cable conductor 2 and metal sheath 4 of the power cable end part are inserted into the respective holes, and the pulling eye 10 is compressed by the once application of an outside compression force to achieve tight adhesion of the connection.</p> |
