FIELD: electrical engineering; handling lighting circuit and other loads. SUBSTANCE: device that has signal shaper, delay unit, auxiliary power supply, and final element is provided, in addition, with active voltage divider, band filter, active rectifier, two comparators, and photoamplifier. Device operates in main and stand-by modes. In stand-by mode of operation, load may be placed at zero potential or, when damping capacitor is turned on, voltage across load may be lower than rated value. In main mode of operation, device may be connected to load through two series- connected switches for definite time interval by means of delay unit incorporating two single-shot multivibrators. EFFECT: simplified design, improved reliability, enlarged functional capabilities. 3 cl, 3 dwg
