<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch passing-by beam distribution and the running beam distribution accurately at all times, and achieve extremely excellent effects in the improvement of performance and reliability of a head light for this kind of automobile. SOLUTION: Mutual location for a light source 2, a reflection mirror 3, and a shading hood 4 are fixed, by arranging the light source 2 as the position for the reflection mirror 3 to form the passing by beam distribution, by providing the shading hood 3 to form the passing by beam distribution, and by providing an opening 4a opened by moving a movable hood 5 to get the running beam distribution at the location that covers a lower half section 3b in the reflection mirror of this shading hood 4, and also by providing a diffusion prism 6, inserted into the appropriate position in the light path to get the running beam distribution, that responds to the movement of the movable hood 5 by an interlocking mechanism 7.</p> |
