PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely acquire desired information by providing a control means for transmitting the request signal of information transmission to other unspecified mobile bodies round an own mobile body and a means for receiving information from the other mobile bodies. SOLUTION: A control means 3 is provided with an own vehicle position/ advancing direction/speed arithmetic part 31 for calculating the position, advancing direction and traveling speed of an own vehicle, transmission/reception signal processing part 32, random number generating part 34 for setting a radio signal frequency at random, RAM 35 as a storage means, and timer 37 for measuring time. Further, an information input means 7 for guiding a route, road information acquiring means from a map memory 8 and manual SW 11 are provided and as a display means, a display 12 is provided. A user designates the required area (within 1 km from a crossing, for example), requiring the acquisition of information from a displayed map and transmits the request signal to the other vehicle inside that area. The vehicle, which receives the request signal, returns own vehicle information at the designated frequency when the own vehicle is relevant. |
