PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser device whose output energy and pulsewidth are continuously controllable, without specially modifying the device itself. SOLUTION: A stable laser oscillator is composed of a reflection mirror 11 and a partial reflection mirror 12 disposed at both sides of a laser medium 2. Either or each of these mirrors 11, 12 is moved along a laser optical axis to adjust the distance from the media 2. By this distance adjustment the output energy and pulsewidth of a laser beam passing through the partial reflection mirror 12 can be continuously controlled. |
