PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce performance degradation caused by the change of an environmental temperature during use. SOLUTION: This optical device is provided with a polarized beam splitter 7 having plural prisms 7-1 and 7-2 bonded while sandwiching a dielectric multilayer film 7P and an attachment member 30 fixing the polarized beam splitter 7. One prism 7-1 between the plural prisms 7-1 and 7-2 is fixed on the attachment member 30. The remaining prism 7-2 between the plural prisms 7-1 and 7-2 is not fixed on the attachment member 30. Even when the environmental temperature changes and a dimension change occurs on the respective prisms 7-1 and 7-2 and the attachment member 30, the prism 7-2 and the dielectric multilayer film 7P are not affected by the change of stress. |
