<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent X-ray analysis method and a fluorescent X-ray analyzer by which the carbon content of a sample can be found more accurately, by measuring the intensity and hardness of fluorescent X-rays generated from the sample. SOLUTION: In a fluorescent X-ray analysis method, the intensities and hardness of fluorescent X-rays generated from carbon are measured on standard samples 3, and the correlation between the intensities and hardness is found in advance. For a sample 13 containing carbon at an unknown concentration, the intensity and hardness of the fluorescent X-rays generated from the carbon contained in the sample 13 are measured, and the carbon content of the sample 13 is found by applying the above-mentioned correlation.</p> |
